Oh silly me, I wasn’t aware that latching myself onto a movement that has done wonders perpetuating sexism was a better alternative than actually thinking for myself. It would also be in my best interest to cling to a movement that tells me that if I oppose it, I’m obviously just too stupid to understand what it means. I should just blindly believe what I’m told, right? Would that make me a better woman?

Here I’ll just clear some things up for you since you’re stuck in the 80’s and have no idea what Feminism is.

You know what Feminism has done?

• Gained Woman’s sufferage (y’know, voting?)
• gave women the right to be educated
• gained better working conditions for EVERYONE
• gained custody rights over your children
• gave you the ability to own your own land and house
• helped abolish slavery
• secured that you can’t /legally/ be discriminated for job opportunities and such
• gave you pretty much the right to /work/ in general
• gave you the right to take time off of work for pregnancy/childbirth/whatever and not have to lose your job
• gave you birth control, etc, etc.

And y’know, that’s just off the top of my head. You wanna go see what /else/ Feminism has given us? Just go google the term and it’s achievements. I’m sure your severely uneducated mind will be shocked at what you’ll find.

You wanna know what else you’ll find?

You’ll find out about the backlash in the 80’s where people were suddenly decreeing that Feminism was ‘destroying’ the families, and that feminists were angry ‘man-haters’

Oh yeah, it’s the same garbage you’re spouting.

Thirty fucking years later.

So please, kindly, before you insist that /I/ am a blind sheep, educate yourself on what Feminism REALLY is, instead of pandering to a belief that was created 30 years ago in an attempt to halt women’s progress. Kindly educate yourself on the women who gave you the right to sit here and be as fucking stupid as you’re being now.

Because god knows, those women are rolling in their graves as I’m typing this.
